This book is glossy paperback. The stickers in the middle of the book are used on the 7 story pages to add pictures. The stickers are paper, not plastic as expected. They are not reusable as advertised.This product only serves for a one time hands-on sticker activity. I purchased it for its expected reusable quality for children at synagogue. This is not going to work. The stickers tear when they are peeled off for reuse.The story and captions for the pictures are short and to the point. It's a good little book if you only want to place the stickers once.
Passover Seder tends to run on the long side so I wanted to purchase something for my twins to keep them busy during dinner service. These sticker books were the magic ticket! Not only could they follow along with the story, but each aspect of the Passover story has a sticker, right down to the number of glasses of wine we drink. Each section of stickers is clearly labeled so you can follow along during service and place the stickers accordingly with the story. They loved everything about these sticker books, and so did I. They were so proud at the end when their books were all filled out. It made Passover a very fun event for them.
I wasn't sure what age group this would be good for. It is too advanced for a 3 year old.
Aaron decided the plagues would look best on the dishes. Luckily they are a bit sanitized for kids, so people were still able to eat. (They did wash off easily.). Anyway, the book makes a little Haggadah and helps to pass the evening. He loved the book, and you know the plot is really quite interesting.
Bought these for a second year in a row to help entertain the kids at our Seder table - they love the stickers and activities and the parents love the educational aspect of the pages and explanations of the Seder/Passover traditions.
This will be such fun for the children to do before and after the Seder. What child doesn't like sticker books?
Wasn't sure about this at first, but it kept kids from being bored and able to be active learners.
Good variety of stickers - enough to help an otherwise answer kid sit through a passover seder. And, the book is pretty thin so its easy to travel with.
